Factors that Affect Jordan's Exports during the Period (2003-2012)

Abstract
This study aims to examine the major factors that affect export in Jordan during the period (2003-2012) by using
statically analysis for the Jordanian domestic export for commodity and geographic distribution. Applying Pooled
EGLS (Period SUR) for the period 2005-2011, the results show a consistency in Jordan’s trade pattern over the
period years, in addition we find the distance factor, and population and exchange rate were significant in
affecting the exports of Jordan.
