A Brief Discussion of New-Type Urbanization Theory for China

Abstract
The adoption of new-type urbanization strategy is an important decision for the on-going integrated and coordinated urban and rural development in China, and it isa must for the modernization of China as well. The realization of new-type urbanization will have great significance to China’s economic and social development. This paper will discuss this new-type urbanization theory for China from perspectives including concept of newtype urbanization, meanings of its realization and key issues to be solved.
