Dr. Nozar Hashemzadeh

Dr. Nozar Hashemzadeh is a Professor of Economics at Radford University in Radford, Virginia. He received his Ph. D. in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic and State University in 1975- where he studied under Nobel Prize Laureates Dr. James Buchanan and Dr. James Meade.  Prior to his teaching career, D. Hashemzadeh was a reporter and correspondent for the Tehran Journal, a daily English Language newspaper published by the Ettla’at Press.  He joined the economics faculty at RU in 1983 and has served the institution in numerous capacities. Among his many assignments, he has served as the Vice President of the Faculty Senate, Acting President of the Faculty Senate, Department Head, and Director of Internship. Dr. Hashemzadeh has published widely in national and international journals, written three manuscripts and has served as a reviewer and a member of the Board of Editors of a prominent international journal.
