Abstract
This research focused on Saudi consumers' experiences toward the role of the government agencies as service
providers in ensuring their consumer rights. 244 participants completed electronic questionnaires. In general,
Saudi consumers believed that their rights were not ensured by the Saudi government agencies. The results
supported the view that Saudi consumers are treated as citizens by the government agencies, not as customers.
