Abstract
A game model between manager and shareholders is built to analyze the influence mechanism of equity
motivation on R&D input based on the principal-agent theory. Research shows that there are inverted U-shaped
relationships between equity motivation on R&D input, the modest equity should be gave for motivating manager.
